Summer is almost over!
This summer I’ve honestly spent a lot of time experimenting with new products and trying new things and its been a breathe of fresh air. Needless to say Target, Sephora and Ulta has been my happy place— not that this is surprise or anything new.
Through trying so many new things I’ve found a couple staples that I wanted to share because they’re all too good not to share!
Fenty Body Lava (Brown Sugar)— So I actually bought this for my birthday this year (Spring) because when I tried the tester on in Sephora I instantly fell in love with how smooth it felt. I will say as of this summer, there are definitely cheaper alternatives that have been released but when I was in the market for one this was the best option out there. And lets be real, I fell for the hype and I can kinda see where its worth it for the amount of product and the formula. I’ve had this product (and use it slightly often) for the past 5 months and haven’t even slightly put a dent in it yet.
Sol do Janeiro Bum Bum Cream— This is another splurge I turned to this summer after I was (once again) sold on its claim to support circulation, boosts energy and smooth skin. I will say I didn’t see a difference in any of its claims but I have been turning to it when I want to smell good because it smells soooo good and I’m not really a perfume girl. Because it is so expensive its definitely not my go to lotion or body cream but I have fallen in love with it and will likely purchase it again when I’m done with it (let’s just hope Shawn doesn’t find out how much it cost)!
OleHenrikson banana bright eye cream— I have finally found an eye cream I love! I’m always super hesitant when it comes to trying out new skin care products because my skin can be relatively sensitive but this eye cream has such good reviews I just knew I couldn’t pass it up. I’ve only been using it for a week and my under eyes are brighter and less dry!
Zak 30 oz. tumbler— So obviously this isn’t beauty related but its such a staple item for me I couldn’t pass sharing it! I snagged it at Target for under $10 and in my opinion the quality is just as good as all the name brand tumblers out there right now. In order to ensure I’m drinking enough water I like to keep ice cold water by my side all day long and this tumbler lives up to the hype and keeps ice frozen in my cup all day long.
Yankee Candle Lemon Lavender— This is another non-beauty pickup I fell in love with this summer. It smells absolutely amazing and does an amazing job of filling up a whole room with its sweet and calming fragrance. I stumbled across this candle after looking for another lavender candle because my target stopped selling one of my previous favorite candles and I honestly haven’t turned back since! And to be honest I never thought I would turn into a candle snob but yet here I am LOL.
