It’s no secret that toddlers are the most opinionated, picky beings on this Earth. One day raisins are their favorite snack and the next day it’s poison to their soul.
As cute as she is, my little one is no different when it comes to her eating habits.
Lately, she’s been really good about eating most vegetables I put in front of her but she hasn’t always been that way. For the longest, I had to sneak veggies in by way of “special treats” and snacks. One of her favorite “special treats” is this smoothie! It’s super easy to make and pretty much fool-proof!
Strawberry, Banana and Spinach Smoothie
Notes
Adjust banana amount listed in ingredients to change "sweetness" factor.
Ingredients
- 1 cup of frozen strawberries
- 3/4 cup of bananas
- 2 cups of oat milk
- 1/2 cup of spinach
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in blender, blend and enjoy! 🙂
A pro tip for all of my busy moms: separate the ingredients (minus the milk!) in plastic ziplock bags and throw it in the freezer until you’re ready to use it. That way you can just grab the bag and dump it in the blender on your busiest mornings.
XO
