Giving gifts to Shawn and Raelynn are probably one of my favorite past times. Given Valentine’s Day coming up I wanted to put together a small “goodie” bag for the 2 of them as a simple way to tell them I love you!
Very similar to last year, we’ll probably be spending this Valentine’s Day cuddling in bed and having a movie night. In case you’re new here, last year I shared a handful of non-traditional ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
Toddler Valentine’s Day Goodie Bag
Sunglasses – Raelynn LOVES wearing sunglasses. She’s a Florida baby through and through! If your little loves sunglasses as well, heart-shaped sunglasses is a cute and fun festive gift to throw in their gift basket!
Pajamas – We’re all homebodies over here, hence why will likely be spending Valentine’s Day in this year. So a cute pj set either festive or not is perfect for any homebodies also spending Valentine’s Day at home this year!
Snacks – Because is it even Valentine’s Day if you don’t have your favorite snacks or candy to snack on throughout the day!?
Coloring Book/Pages – This is my go-to gift for every holiday for Raelynn because she LOVES to color! This year I decided to do something a little different. I downloaded a coloring poster inspired by 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 on Etsy and had it printed at my local Staples. I thought this would be the perfect activity for us to do together and talk about God’s love as well!
Tumbler – I honestly just thought this was a cute tumbler perfect for Valentine’s Day. This brand also has a handful of cute Disney themed cups as well.
Books – Books are always a fun way to help toddlers and littles understand different holidays. This past year the “llama, llama” series has been a favorite for us.
Hubby/Spouse Goodie Bag
For Shawn, I plan on keeping it super simple. We don’t really exchange gifts on Valentine’s Day but I still like to give him something to let him know I’m thinking about him!
This year I plan on including his…
- Favorite Candy
- Favorite Snacks
- Starbucks giftcard
- Card (with a love letter inside)
There’s so many ways to express your love to those around you but don’t miss the opportunity to love on them a little bit more this Valentine’s Day. You can spend some extra quality time with your family, call/text your friends to tell them what you mean to them or make goodie bags like I did!
XO
Michelle
PS. Don’t forget that God love you too! ?
